I was wondering when AMD would get the balls to do this.

No way to screw up your legs quite like a mad sprint for the bus after having just driven one for 5.5 hours.
Owwwwwie.
OK, let’s be fair here. I’ve still been spending more time at work than I have on World of Warcraft.
Though, not by much.
In other news, it sounds like Maggie and I are gonna take a little weekend trip to Wisconsin the first weekend of August… we’ll get to see Ben and Amanda and Liz, and get shown around Madison, maybe go to House on the Rock. It’ll be fun. Then I get to go down to Des Moines for the next two weeks and drive State Fair shuttles between Pleasant Hill and the Fairgrounds. Woot for DMMTA not having enough capacity and needing to contract out.
Would ye, of varying browser and OS backgrounds, kindly check out http://www.music.iastate.edu/org/iss and tell me if you have any problems. Only Internet Explorer or old version browser users should be redirected to the frames site; if you’re redirected there and using a newer non-IE browser, please let me know!
So I finally broke down today and bought World of Warcraft.
And, at the moment, I’m a little annoyed. You can only connect to the game with the latest version… and downloading the 174MB patch is taking an inordinately long amount of time, because Blizzard has decreed that the only way they will distribute it is via P2P, which means I’m at the mercy of the rest of the internet.
So, it’ll be done by the time I get back from the band concert tonight, which is just lovely, since I have to go right to bed, and all.
All I can say is, I’m glad I didn’t start my blogging kick with MT… I think I would have quit before I’d begun.
What a piece of junk.
I officially suck at the English language.
So, Kelly sent me some character profiles. Wow.
I don’t wanna release any details until she’s pretty much finalized the story, but I will say that it’s loosely based on the story of the Greek (originally Phonecian) deity Adonis.
Let that whet your appetites for awhile. If you’re all good boys and girls I may post the theme sketch that I’ve come up with. *evilgrin*
So, I’m sitting in class absorbing what he’s saying while reading various articles online about the Apple-Intel switch, and in one of the articles, the writer mentioned that he was in Stage 4 (Depression) of Elizabeth Kubler-Ross’s stages of grief. I glance up from the screen to see said stages listed on the overhead presentation.
Weird.
Weight entering Psych class: 265
Weight exiting Psych class: significantly less
Would it be so terribly difficult to have summer classes in air-conditioned buildings? HONESTLY!
This will be pretty interesting to watch. Those are some pretty serious allegations, according to the article you linked.
Indeed. Everybody knows it’s been going on, and I think AMD got to the point in their business that they realized the only thing holding them back is Intel’s BS. I, for one, hope AMD wins this suit, even though I will (grudgingly) be an Intel customer within the next couple of years.
