Is it bad that I’m seriously considering blocking this site to IE users and posting a big fat link to Firefox to coincide with the release of Firefox 1.5?
I sincerely hope that anybody that reads this on a regular basis is smart enough to not be using IE anyway.
Welcome to the club man I already did, though generally I hope people use Safari more than Firefox but my popup (well really hidden div becomes visible) only shows for Windows IE users.

I removed the Safari bit and updated the message with a list of standards compliant browsers the site worked with as you’ll see if you go to http://www.atxproject.net/atxbeta/ with IE on Windows.
