French 301: B+
Pretty much what I expected. She was very transparent with the grading process throughout the semester and gave regular grade reports. The only thing I was concerned about was the composition rewrite; I didn’t hand one in because it was only 2.5% of our grade and I had much bigger fish to fry at the time, but on the latest grade report it was labeled 100 points out of the 600 or so we’d had.

Duh.
Music 301: A
This is me getting credit for a class I took six years ago that mysteriously disappeared from my transcript.

I was a little concerned about this one too. My voice lessons hadn’t gone quite as well as usual, and the required concert attendance reports were one of those things that I set aside in the end-of-semester crunch.
Music 466 (music ed): A
I have to say I’m actually quite surprised about this one. My work in the class certainly wasn’t superb, and I literally threw together all three final projects for the class in 16 hours last week. I guess I’ll take them where I can get them

All I had to say when I saw this is…
NO. FUCKING. WAY.
Given my attendance record, my previous tests, how poorly I did on the listening portion of the final exam, and my expected grade on the term paper, I expected something in the C+/B- range. I have no idea how I managed to pull off a B+. I must have done a lot better on my term paper than I thought.
All in all, better than I expected, and enough to pull my grade point up off of teetering on 3.0.
