I’ve decided that I need to get out and DO more stuff. So, as one facet of this, I’m going to get over my fear and attend the NWS/SKYWARN storm spotter training class on April 17 in Maxwell.
If anybody else would be interested in doing this, I’d be willing to share the ride. The class itself is free.

I finally figured out my combo button dilemma and started getting some solid work done on the schedule view. Ockham’s Razor in full effect, is all I have to say.
//edit: If you tried the recent SVN pull, you’ll probably notice it didn’t compile, as I forgot to remove an import for a non-existant file. The issue should be fixed now.
So, I found out today that if I drop my French minor, I could graduate at the end of the summer. It would be difficult, but possible.
It’s extraordinarily tempting.

are you using special build settings?
You know, that has always sounded like something I ought to do: I figure that when there’s a tornado or something, I’d rather be the fool outdoors with a camcorder than hiding in a basement (or singing in choir… grr). I’ll let you know as the date draws nearer whether I’ll be free to accompany you. Could you maybe email me or edit your post with a link for more info such as times?
