I’ve decided that I need to get out and DO more stuff. So, as one facet of this, I’m going to get over my fear and attend the NWS/SKYWARN storm spotter training class on April 17 in Maxwell.
If anybody else would be interested in doing this, I’d be willing to share the ride. The class itself is free.

You know, that has always sounded like something I ought to do: I figure that when there’s a tornado or something, I’d rather be the fool outdoors with a camcorder than hiding in a basement (or singing in choir… grr). I’ll let you know as the date draws nearer whether I’ll be free to accompany you. Could you maybe email me or edit your post with a link for more info such as times?
