Adapted from Alton Brown’s “formula.”
1c brown sugar
6Tbsp kosher salt
2Tbsp chili powder (get the good stuff or make your own)
1tsp onion powder
1tsp garlic powder
1tsp ground black pepper
1tsp cayenne pepper
1tsp ground mustard
1tsp thyme
Mix thoroughly, rub into a rack of ribs, let sit for several hours before smoking.
//edit: whoops, that should be 2Tbsp chili powder, not 1Tbsp.
…is absolutely hilarious. If you didn’t get a chance to see it while it was in Des Moines, I highly recommend you go see it wherever you have a chance. It has the best moments of the Holy Grail, plus some new twists.
Also, stuffed in our programs was an ad for Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood (from Whose Line Is It Anyway?) doing improv on Saturday, September 29. Maggie and I went when they were there a couple of years ago, and it was really entertaining. We want to go again, and we thought it would be fun to bring friends this time… if anybody’s interested, get ahold of me in the next couple of days so I can order the tickets together. They’re $47 apiece. If you like Whose Line, you’ll definitely be entertained.
Je veux me préparer pour la course de la litterature française en automne. Est-ce qu’il y a les lecteurs de français qui peut me donner les titres des bons romans français?
So here’s the update.
